Have you ever tried to manually remove a single fence post? What about 10? Then you know the pain.

Not only is fence puling back-breaking labor, but it's tedious and time-consuming. If you have fence posts to pull, you need a reliable tool. There are efficient methods of removing fence posts, and one of those is using a T post puller.

A T post puller is the smartest way to pull out a T post and increase your productivity. Here are the basics of a T post puller and how to efficiently use this tool.

What Is a T Post Puller?

There are many ways to remove a fence post but one of the easiest ways is to use a T post puller. It's fast, reliable, and requires little work.

The 21-pound JackJaw fence puller pulls fence posts, string link stakes, and 3/4" form stakes in concrete applications. Stakes are pulled from the ground without bending the posts or breaking concrete.

By applying a 50-pound push on the handle of the T puller, it creates 1050-pounds of gripping force and 450 pounds of upward force on the stake. Its low grip height means stakes can be pulled even when driven below the top of the form.

The T post puller lowers the possibility of back injuries and other bodily harm. Back injuries make up 20% of workers' compensation claims with almost 500,000 employees making claims every year. Employees who sustain a back injury while on the job receive $24,000 in compensation on average.

Whether you need a fence post puller for business or personal use, this tool saves you time and unnecessary pain.

How It Works

The T post puller uses basic physics. It uses leverage and a ratchet and fulcrum action to pull the post out of the ground with little force and movement.

Here's how to use the JackJaw T Post Puller.

Step One

If you're working in soft soil, you'll need a board to support the base of the puller. A board distributes the force over a larger area so that it doesn't sink into the ground. Put the board against the base of the post and place the base of the T Post puller on top of the board.

Step Two

Lift the handle up so that the jaws completely open. Make sure the jaws are on either side of the stake or T post.

Step Three

Push down on the handle so that the jaw clamps the post or stake and starts pulling it out of the ground. Repeat this motion until the post is out.

Don't Break Your Back Pulling Fence Posts

A T post puller gets the job done in a fraction of the time. JackJaw T post fence pullers are here to make your life easier and safer.
